Made In Retail Launch
Made-In engaged Vine to propose a packaging and unboxing style to establish Made-In’s retail preference. They looked to distinguish themselves with a distinct packaging solution that accentuated their brand values of quality, durability, style, and sustainability.
The production concept utilized a rectangular tray design with an elevated panel to locate and secure the pan in place. This worked in conjunction with the partial front panel to showcase the pan with intentional branding assets and connection to their web presence through a QR code on one of the reinforced corners.
This design was implemented to align with the full product offering as part of a full packaging redesign to be used in retail.
Initial concepts focused on unique ways to showcase the product while protecting both the pan body and handle.
Made In as a brand focuses on a refined aesthetic supported by the highest quality of materials and assembly process for the job. This focus on materials and durability resonates with a sustainable sensibility that must be apparent in the packaging design.
Prototyping allowed us to better communicate the unboxing processes and print opportunities for each concept.
Our client was able to understand the level of protection provided by each concept and the complexity of assembly.
Upon initial concept review, we understood the customer’s desire to reduce material and emphasize a hanging display using the handle.
We refined the concept direction and moved into initial prototyping to validate our ideas.
